Life Centers, a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting women and men facing unplanned pregnancy-related decisions, is excited to announce the appointment of Jodi Smith as Director of Community Partnerships. In this pivotal role, Jodi will lead efforts to build and expand relationships with community organizations, including churches and nonprofits.
Jodi brings over three decades of leadership in pro-life advocacy, community engagement, and health education to the role. With a deep commitment to faith and service, Jodi has dedicated her career to empowering women and families, fostering life-affirming choices, and building strong community connections.
Previously, as State Director for Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, Jodi managed field operations across multiple states, recruiting and leading teams for important causes around life. She has also worked closely with legislators in Indiana to advance pro-life legislation. Jodi’s extensive experience as a medical nutritionist and health educator includes hosting health-focused radio and TV programs, serving as Food and Nutrition Editor for The Saturday Evening Post, and teaching at institutions like IUPUI, Butler University, and Purdue University. Additionally, she received the Sagamore of the Wabash award from Governor Mike Pence for her volunteer work and focus on life.
Jodi is a passionate volunteer leader and former volunteer with Life Centers. Her faith-based leadership spans over 40 years, including her role as a board member for The Gathering Together hospice and a dedicated member of Bread of Life Church. Jodi’s work as a life counselor and trainer reflects her unwavering commitment to life. She is excited to help lead Life Centers’ initiatives and mission to provide holistic, compassionate care to those facing unplanned pregnancies.

Her expertise in public speaking, fundraising, and volunteer coordination, combined with her deep alignment with Life Centers’ values, will strengthen the organization’s outreach and service delivery.
