Indianapolis, IN —Life Centers is excited to announce the appointment of Don Starks Jr. as our new Fatherhood Champion, leading the newly established Fatherhood Ministry, Purpose Driven Dad. With over 25 years of leadership experience at UPS and a background as a Military Intelligence Specialist in the United States Army, Don brings a wealth of experience and a heart for service to our organization.
Through his years of commitment to leading a vast array of men’s Bible studies and mentoring colleagues, Don has helped many young men grow in their faith and embrace their God-given roles. He understands the vital role a father plays in shaping family dynamics and guiding important life decisions, aiming to empower fathers to fully embrace their responsibilities as caregivers and spiritual leaders.
“Don’s profound impact on the many men he has mentored is a testament to how God uses him as a willing vessel to bring about transformation in their lives,” said Dawn Lang, Executive Director. “We are thrilled to have him leading our Purpose Driven Dad ministry.”
Deeply rooted in his faith, Don shares a profound relationship with Jesus that fuels his passion for mentorship. He believes true guidance is built on trust and genuine connection. He holds an MBA in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.
As he steps into this role, Don is eager to help fathers awaken to the life God calls them to live, inspired by Genesis 18:19: “For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just.”
