What a night of celebration we had on May 1st where over 1,100 of Life Centers supporters gathered together to celebrate our 31-year anniversary. The evening was filled with wonderful testimonies of clients who made life-changing decisions after visiting one of our eight pregnancy centers. We also heard from a volunteer who shared her adoption story and now helps organize our Walk + Run for Life event in Lebanon.

This annual event provides us the forum to meet with many of you personally and for us to share how each and every supporter played a vital role in saving the life of an unborn child. In addition, our counselors are able to share the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with every client that walks in our door.

Last year, we provided almost 20,000 services to 6,910 clients. The services we offer free of charge to our clients are vast. Examples of free services we provide are: pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, diapers, baby formula, adoption referral assistance, maternity and baby clothing, and personal 1:1 counseling. As a result of serving the needs of our clients, 239 babies were saved from being aborted and 346 spiritual decisions were made.

This year’s keynote speaker was Eric Metaxas, author of the New York Times #1 Bestseller, Bonhoeffer. As he shared with the audience the life of Bonhoeffer, it was noticeable how parallel the story was to the mission of Life Centers, and that is to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. In addition to our keynote speaker, we were honored that Indiana Governor, Mike Pence, chose to attend our Celebration of Life banquet to publicly sign an important piece of legislation that makes it easier for Indiana families to adopt, while providing tax credits to help minimize the cost of adoption.

As I shared that evening, Life Centers is charging ahead and working hard to stay connected with our clients and our community. We do this by delivering services to our clients using cutting edge technology in a manner that is useful and meaningful to them. I spoke of the need for replacing our ultrasound machines which are all over 15 years old and how new technology can digitize ultrasound pictures that can be captured electronically and sent to the clients Smartphone, where she will have that picture for life. We are also working on upgrading our communications platform where our printed material we provide to our clients will be available online, thus reducing significantly the cost to print these materials.

We are excited about what is ahead for us and how God will continue to use this ministry to share His message of love for both the born and unborn. We are so grateful for the outpouring of support we receive from each and every one of you and ask for your continued prayers over our centers, volunteers and most importantly our clients.
