In the work of supporting women facing unexpected pregnancies, we often plant seeds of hope without knowing if or when they'll grow. Many of our abortion-vulnerable (ABV) clients connect with us during a vulnerable moment, but then life gets overwhelming—phone numbers change, responses fade, and we lose touch. It's a reminder that our role is to be faithful in reaching out, even when the door seems closed.

Recently, we saw a beautiful example of why persistence matters.

Last summer, one ABV client came to us for support. We scheduled an ultrasound to help her see her baby and when following up afterwards, she indicated that she was still undecided. After that, calls went unanswered, texts went unread—silence for months.

Then, this month, as part of our standard follow-up protocol, a team member sent a simple check-in text. To our surprise and joy, she replied almost immediately, asking about an ultrasound.

We gently explained that at this stage in her pregnancy, an ultrasound wasn't something we could provide, but we offered her something else: a baby bundle filled with practical essentials like diapers, wipes, clothing, blankets, and other items to welcome her little girl with love and care.

She called right away to make an appointment, and this week she walked through our doors to pick it up. Picture the moment—a mom-to-be, glowing with anticipation, receiving that bundle of hope as she prepares for her daughter's arrival. She's now just weeks away from meeting her baby girl!

Stories like this remind us that even when contact feels lost, a consistent, caring follow-up can reopen the door at just the right time. What seemed like a closed chapter became a happy ending, with a precious life about to be born.

Thank you for standing with us. Your prayers, generosity, and partnership make these moments possible—helping us walk alongside women like her, offering real support and showing them they're not alone.
