Ana* came in a year ago, pregnant with her fifth child, very set on abortion. She was visibly very upset, and said she did not want a fifth child. Her husband wanted her to keep their baby, but regardless of how he felt, she called what she thought was an abortion clinic in Chicago. They told her to contact us!
She expressed her desire for an abortion despite acknowledging children are a gift from the Lord. After reviewing all of the abortion procedures with Ana, she said that God brought her to our center for a reason and that she was choosing life.
Fortunately, we were able to provide a same-day ultrasound exam, and she even signed up for our BrightCourse parenting classes before she left.
Ana gave birth in March and came back to our center in June to continue her parenting classes! She gave us a thank you note where she wrote, “I want to take a moment and let you know how much you are appreciated. You are a true angel to me and instrumental to me carrying my baby right now. I chose abortion, but you chose life for my baby. Thank you!!!"
