#GivingTuesdayNow is a new global day of giving and unity that will take place on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 – in addition to the regularly scheduled Dec 1, 2020 #GivingTuesday – as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.

Like many businesses and nonprofits, COVID-19 had a huge impact on Life Centers. In addition to temporarily closing our centers, we postponed our largest annual fundraising event, the Celebration of Life banquet. This event is responsible for raising over 25% of our annual revenue. Not having the banquet on April 23rd, as scheduled, equates to a loss in revenue of approximately $300,000. You can help us as we begin to supplement the lost funds by participating in Giving Tuesday Now!
Help us meet our $10,000 goal on May 5th by donating below.
The CARES Act (House Bill 748), recently passed by the federal government, allows donors to deduct up to $300 in charitable contributions from their 2020 taxes “above the line.” This means anyone who makes a $300 donation in 2020 will be able to deduct it from their taxes even if they don’t itemize their taxes next year. Those that do itemize will still get the standard deduction plus this $300 gift deduction.
