One of the most common reasons given from women considering abortion is that they don’t feel that they have the resources to care for a child. At Life Centers, in addition to all of the other services we provide, we offer to help with support services, educational resources, and referrals.

Support Services

Support services can include baby supplies like diapers, wipes, bottles, formula, baby clothes, layettes, blankets, toys, baby furniture, Pack ‘n Plays, strollers, and other baby-related items. It can also include maternity clothes for the mother. All of these items are donated, and peer counselors determine on a case-by-case basis how to distribute. 

Educational Resources

Educational resources include literature on a variety of topics related to pregnancy, abortion, sexual health, relationships, parenting, adoption, and many Christian resources. 

Referrals

Potential mothers and families are also supported through referrals to our extensive network of partner ministries, adoption services, and churches. In addition, we offer a verification of pregnancy, and can connect our clients with various governmental assistance agencies.

We do all of this so that the fear and burden of “not having enough resources” can be lessened or removed, and the woman can make a choice free of fear.
