Life Centers names Dawn Lang as its Executive Director

August 27, 2024 (Indianapolis, Indiana) – Life Centers is pleased to announce the appointment of Dawn Lang as its executive director. Lang will assume her role on October 1, 2024, succeeding Tom Shevlot, who retires at the end of this year.

Lang is a highly accomplished professional and active community member with a deep commitment to Christian values. With over 25 years of combined experience in executive leadership, business development, and strategic partnerships, Lang has spent her career working with organizations ranging in size from startups to Fortune 500s and in various sectors including K12 and higher education, workforce development, government, healthcare and life sciences, and technology. Lang holds a bachelor’s degree in communications, a master’s degree in health and wellness management, and is a graduate of the Richard Lugar Excellence in Public Service Leadership Series.

Lang is an active member of ITOWN Church in Fishers, Indiana and dedicates time to community service as a member of the Fishers Rotary Club and a trustee of the Hamilton Southeastern School Board. She spends her free time as a yoga and fitness instructor and mentoring women civic leaders. Dawn and her husband, Jeff, enjoy family time, watching their 13-year-old son play football and baseball and loving and supporting their two adult children and rescue dog, Ziva.
