Life. Change.
On November 9th, Plainfield Christian Church launched a Bottles for Babies campaign where empty baby bottles were handed out to all those who attended that day in their four services. Life Centers and PCC have had a long and rewarding relationship where they are locked arm-in-arm with us on the front lines of meeting the needs of women facing pregnancy related decisions.
Led by senior Pastor Steve White and executed by Dave and Karen Verhonik, along with Peggy Hileman, the challenge to the congregation was to support Life Centers not only in prayer, but by filling the baby bottles with change over the next two weeks.
At the end of two weeks, Plainfield Christian Church’s members brought the bottles back filled with change and bills and the total amount raised was almost $9,000. These funds raised will greatly accelerate our plans to relocate our existing Hendricks County pregnancy center to a more visible and accessible location where we can meet the needs of even more clients looking for love, compassion and help as they work through pregnancy related decisions they are faced with.
We are grateful for everyone who participated in this and so thankful we have such great church support like we do at Plainfield Christian Church.
