Life Centers Announces Keynote Speaker for Banquet
David Limbaugh to speak at Celebration of Life Banquet on Thursday April 21st 2016

Indianapolis, IN: Today, Life Centers announced David Limbaugh will be the keynote speaker for the 2016 Celebration of Life Banquet. The banquet will take place on Thursday, April 21st at the JW Marriott in Downtown Indianapolis.

Life Centers’ Executive Director, Tom Shevlot, says, “We are excited and fortunate to have such a great speaker for our banquet. David Limbaugh is someone who not only writes eloquently about the important issues of today but also speaks powerfully about faith and family. He will help make it a tremendous evening for anyone who is passionate about the issue of life.”

Registration for the 2016 Celebration of Life Banquet will open online at LifeCenters.com on Valentine’s Day (Sunday, February 14, 2016).

David Limbaugh Bio

David Limbaugh is a nationally syndicated columnist with Creators Syndicate, NewsMax, and involved in entertainment, business and contract law. He is also a frequent contributor to Fox News. In addition to this, he is a public speaker, addressing various topics that include the Constitution, America’s Christian heritage, political and cultural issues from a conservative perspective and pro-life issues. He has authored many New York Times best-selling books, Jesus on Trial: A Lawyer Affirms the Truth of the Gospels, Absolute Power: The Legacy of Corruption in the Clinton-Reno Justice Department, Persecution: How Liberals are Waging War against Christianity, and his latest being, The Emmaus Code: Finding Jesus in the Old Testament.

David attended Southeast Missouri State University from 1971-1972 and the University of Missouri, Columbia 1972-1975, where he graduated Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. While in undergraduate school at UMC, he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri, Columbia Law School in 1978. While in law school, he was a Member of Missouri Law Review. He served in the National Guard from 1972-1978.

Admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1978, David began practicing law in September 1978 and has continued in practice since. He is presently a partner in the law firm of Limbaugh, Russell, Payne and Howard.

David has also been active in community service. He served as a member of the Cape Girardeau City Council for eight years, elected by the Council to serve as Mayor Pro-Tem for six of those years. During his second term on the City Council, he served as an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors for the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce. He also served as a member of the Cape Girardeau Missouri Public Facilities Authority and was on the Annexation Committee and a member of the Cape Girardeau City Board of Appeals. In addition, David was Chairman of the Cape Girardeau County Constitutional Bi-Centennial Committee and a board member of Southeast Missouri Arts Council from 1983 through 1989.

David is presently a member of Lacroix United Methodist Church where he has served as Chairman of the Church Council. He is a member of the Cape Girardeau Lions Club. He is a member of the Cape Girardeau County Bar Association, and the Missouri Bar Association. He served as a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and he serves on the Sports and Entertainment Law Committee of the Missouri Bar. He is a Disciplinary Hearing Officer for the 32nd Circuit Judicial Ethics Committee.

David also served since 1993 on the Board of Trustees for Southeast Missouri Hospital and has served on its Executive Committee since 1996.

Born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Dec. 11, 1952, to Rush H. Limbaugh, Jr. and Mildred Armstrong Limbaugh, David is married to Lisa Limbaugh and has five children. His brother is the well-known syndicated radio host, Rush H. Limbaugh III.
